  3. our holiday traditions are many! we make sugar cookies with my aunt and the kids make reindeer food. we bake applesauce ornaments a week before xmas to decorate the tree. we do popcorn strings for the trees . and we always opne 1 gift on christmas eve!

  7. The important tradition that my parents did and now we do is first we read the bible and not the short version either. Then we all get to open one small gift.

  8. My family always does ThanksChristmas. We all get together between Thanksgiving and Christmas. So many of us are married and have other families to visit, that we thought this was a way to make sure the family is always all together for the holidays. Works out well!

  51. We do a multi state extended family gift exchange I have been involved my whole life. It is fun and really not about the gifts as we only do 5 dollars for this. It is like a challenge to get all the gifts correctly and not mess it up or to even find a gift for 5 dollars. Always fun on Christmas Eve especially for the little ones.

  52. If the weather agrees, we like to take an outdoor photo of the family because with 6 kids, we rarely get all of them together. We also do this with my mom EVERY year...pics of all (24 grandkids and 20 greatgrandkids) in attendance and all of us 9 kids with our mom.
