I’m Pregnant!

Woohoo, it’s true! I’m pregnant and our little family couldn’t be more ecstatic! I decided to wait a while to share this wonderful news with you, as I wanted to be a few weeks past the “safety period.” This marks a time in your pregnancy where you enter your 2nd trimester and the likelihood of having a miscarriage is much, much lower. Thankfully, I am in this zone and I am ready to shout our exciting news from the rooftop!

As only family and close friends know, I have had two miscarriages since my daughter. It’s been an extremely tough and devastating time for our family and has really taken a big toll on my heart.
I always pictured myself with two children and was heartbroken over the fact that this was becoming so difficult to achieve. Women right and left were becoming pregnant and having babies all around me. I always wished them nothing but the best, but it definitely made my heart ache.

Thankfully now, I am one of those women sharing my happy news to all those I know. It took a couple of years after we started trying… and a whole lot of praying, research on my part, and doctor consultations... but, finally we are excited to announce that I am pregnant!

Stay tuned for big announcements as I will share with all my amazing readers fun events, such as our gender reveal, and so much more! A new and exciting chapter awaits for Love, Mrs. Mommy and I can’t wait to get started!

Health, happiness, love, and baby dust to all the women out there who are trying to conceive after a miscarriage. I wish you strength, healing, and the answer to your prayers.

  1. Congrats! I suffered 2 losses between my first and second children, so I tell my daughter she's a DOUBLE rainbow baby! And her two younger brothers are the pots of gold at the ends of the rainbow. She does not appreciate my sentiments. I'm so happy for you!

    1. Hi Kim. Best of luck with trying for a baby! I didn't use a fertility calculator, but I did buy an ovulation kit. I wanted to make sure I didn't miss those important days. It worked! :) Baby dust to you! :)
