As well as your family’s diet, it is important to focus on exercise. Exercise is an integral part of health and wellbeing, and when done right can improve your wellbeing tenfold. Instead of saying something like let’s go and get some exercise, instead use their interests to make it fun. Say something along the lines of let’s go swimming or on a bike ride.

Sleep

Finally, as a family you should be aiming to get at least eight hours of solid sleep each night. Children will need more than this but it is dependent on their age and stage. It can be extremely difficult getting a solid night's sleep, especially when you have children. If this is the case and you are struggling to sleep at night then you need to find the root cause of it.   1. Wow, sleep is the major problem here. Everything is very noisy. We live right next to a 10 lane superhighway - sirens, cycles, horns blatting all night long. The people in the apartment upstairs constantly renovate their apartment...not just noise but BIG vibrations. To top it off, there is construction across the street from 9-5, so naps are not even a possibility. Arghh! Thanks for listening to my rant!!
